Collecting data from your contacts via a form is a standard practice today and with so many online forms sometimes it adds a better customer experience to prefill some of the data already known about them.
The standard way is to create a form and use URL parameters to prefill form fields. Although this way has its advantages for certain tasks it also means that the data to prefill the form is stored in the URL.
Sometimes we might want the data to be drawn directly from your CRM at that time so its live an up to date. An example of this is a form that updates a contacts details or preferences.
If you use Zoho CRM and Zoho Forms you can take advantage of the native integration between these application that does not require URL Parameters and pulls current data from your CRM.
